People Operations Administrator

Job Summary

This role serves as key support for the People Operations Lead (POL) in the TAX business unit on people related matters. This individual is responsible for understanding all firmwide people services provided to the business unit and assisting with the coordination of all people related initiatives. This role requires an individual to continuously consult with the POL to assess needs and priorities and to support people strategies and plans that align to business unit and firm goals. This individual should bring analytical skills, excellent organization and communication skills.



  • Collection of new hire information 
  • Process all HR transactions and reporting 
  • Assist with purchasing/obtaining and processing of recognition awards 
  • Creation of extensive monthly reporting on people matters 
  • Assist with Learning needs 
  • Manage campus recruiting administration: collection and maintenance of intern needs, welcome information, and collection of feedback
  • Track CPA in process and record CPA reimbursement. Maintain alternative certifications
  • Track and maintain exit survey data
  • Complete temporary and contractor set ups
  • Assist with the tracking of BU industry vertical associations
  • Assist with coordinating various elements of the firmwide orientation/onboarding/integration processes and programs
  • Assist or perform other tasks and special projects as required or assigned by the POL or Operating Executive

  • Tax People Advisory Council

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/Human Resources (or related field) or similar work experience
  • At least 2 years of HR generalist experience preferred
  • Proficient in Word, & PowerPoint, Superior in Excel
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong project / program / process coordination capability
  • Work independently and as an effective team member
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
  • Strong analytical skills, judgment, and critical thinking.
  • Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
  • Ability to build and develop strong relationships
  • Ability to balance the firm and business unit priorities simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Focused on producing desired results in the most efficient and effective manner possible
  • Ability to think broadly and develop organizational awareness quickly
  • Flexible, agile, and able to work with ambiguity as necessary
  • Ability to travel approximately 10% annually to attend various firm / business unit / training meetings
  • Human Resources experience in Professional Services and/or Public Accounting preferred
