The individual would be responsible for coordinating and performing mainly RD engagements which consist of review, audit and tax work.  The individual will not only be expected to perform at a high level in regards to their technical abilities but should have the necessary skills to help develop other staff that may be new to the firm or the RD horizontal within Audit.  They will be responsible for supervising 1 to 3 staff and/or interns assigned to the engagement.  In addition to serving clients, this individual should be comfortable with staff development and maintaining client relationships<br/><br/><b><b>Qualifications:</b></b><br/><br/><b>Skill sets required include:</b><br/><br/>Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must.  Candidate should have the ability to interact with clients, prospects, all levels of staff, and colleagues in a professional fashion.  Candidate will need to be able to multi-task as planning, executing and wrapping up of various engagements may have to be performed concurrently.  Candidate should also have strong technical skills and be able to perform research on technical matters prior to submitting work for Manager review.  Experience working on dealership clients is preferred<br/><br/><b><b>Minimum Qualifications:</b></b><br/><br/>Four year degree in finance and/or accounting is required. The individual would be responsible for coordinating and performing a variety of healthcare audits with a primary focus of serving Florida engagements, but will travel throughout the nation to serve other Health Care clients.  The individual will not only be expected to perform at a high level in regards to their technical abilities but should have the necessary skills to help develop other staff that may be new to the firm or the General Audit practice.  In addition to serving clients, this individual should be comfortable with staff development and maintaining client relationships.<br/><br/><b><b>Qualifications:</b></b><br/><br/>We seek a minimum of three years of experience and the ideal candidate would have two or more years of public accounting experience. Public accounting audit experience with not-for-profit healthcare providers, such as hospitals and health systems, hospices, and/or experience with for-profit healthcare providers and ancillary companies, such as physician groups and medical specialty companies is preferred. Involvement in healthcare organizations, such as HFMA or MGMA would be helpful. Qualified Senior Staff level candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in finance and/or accounting. Master level accounting degree is preferred.  Candidate should have 150 credit hours and be pursuing their CPA certification. CPA license preferred.  Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must.  Candidate should have the ability to interact with clients, prospects, all levels of staff, and colleagues in a professional fashion. Experience working in the healthcare audit sector preferred.  Hospital audit experience is strongly desired.  The individual should be familiar with financial reporting for healthcare companies, including the healthcare revenue cycle, and terminology unique to the industry, such as contractual allowances.
