- Audit planning, execution, and project management.

- Leading IT control evaluation projects to support Crowe's public company financial audits.
- Providing IT controls guidance with respect to client information systems, technology architecture, and security.
- Reviewing and preparing workpapers.
- Identifying additional client service needs.
- Preparing audit reports and communicating issues to Crowe IT Audit management and client management.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree required, Accounting, Computer Information Systems, or Management Information Systems Major is preferred.
- Minimum 2 - 4 years of Professional Services experience in the areas of IT audit, IT controls assessment, and/or Sox 404 evaluation and testing.
- Should have some experience developing IT audit work programs and/or assisting in IT audit and/or Sox 404 projects.
- Experience with a consulting or professional services organization or with a leading industry public company is preferred.
- We require some prior experience supervising staff level resources in the areas of IT audit or Sox 404.
- This position may require national and/or international travel.
- Knowledge of midrange or mainframe architecture (IBM i-Series or IBM OS/390).
- Auditing network operating systems (Novell NetWare or Windows Active Directory).
- Exposure to ERP application level security (Oracle Financials, SAP Basis, or PeopleSoft Financials).
- Audit planning and execution.
- Written and verbal communication of IT control issues.
- IT general and/or application control design and operating effectiveness testing.
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).

Additional Skills Desired:

- MBA is a plus.

Position Summary:

Crowe Horwath is looking for an Information Management (Integration/Business Intelligence) Technical Consultant for the Financial Services delivery unit in the Oak Brook, IL or Chicago, IL office to provide technical expertise in the area of developing business intelligence and data integration solutions. This individual will primarily have a client delivery focus.

Qualifications:

- 1-3+ years of consulting experience related to software development (e.g. software development, integration, etc.) using data integration technologies and business skills (e.g. business analysis/process, etc.).

- 2+ years of development experience in data integration and business intelligence solutions. Experience with complete SDLC lifecycle in this area, including but not limited to requirements gathering, data analysis, design, development, and QA.

- Minimum of two end to end projects completed. Has performed ETL Development and Data Mapping/Modeling activities on three or more projects

- Expertise with leading Extract Transform Load (ETL) tools (Informatica or DataStage would be preferred). Certification would be preferred. Experience with additional Business Intelligence tools from IBM (Cognos, DataStage), Tableau, Microstrategy or Microsoft a plus.

- Experience with a Data Integration/Business Intelligence Methodology.

- Ability to work with IT and business personnel.

- Ability to lead techincal data mapping meetings.

- Experience with projects and familiarity with terminologies in the financial services industry would be a plus.

- Strong understanding of database design techniques on MS SQL Server, Oracle and DB2 required.

- Strong conceptual thinking skills, creativity and flexibility.

As a Federal Tax Manager of Crowe’s tax practice you will be required to consult on large projects and manage compliance engagements. Position Summary:

- Senior Staff would be responsible for working on Internal Audit and/or Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 (Sox 404) projects
- Work directly with clients to communicate business and technical aspects of the work being performed.

Qualifications:

Educational Requirements and Certifications:

- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree with major in Accountancy or similar.
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred, not required.

Experience

- Minimum of 3 years of business experience in the areas of internal audit, internal controls assessment, and/or Sarbanes-Oxley 404 evaluation and testing.
- Sox 404 projects within consulting or professional services firm, or in a public company environment.
- Risk assessment experience is highly desirable.

Skills and Other Job Requirements

- Willingness to travel.
- Effective written and verbal communication of results.
- Understanding of typical business process flows.
- Internal audit planning and execution.
- Written and verbal communication of results to stakeholders of projects.
- Internal control design and effectiveness understanding.
- GAAP financial accounting and SEC Reporting.
- Sales and proposal development skills.
- Bank examiner experience is a plus.

Position Summary:

The Client Experience Manager position supports the firm-wide ECX (Exceptional Client Experience) organization in driving innovation, process improvements, and cultural change into the firm. General responsibilities include: Developing, managing, and executing projects that will improve the key moment of truth experiences that are delivered to the clients.

Skill sets required include:

- Work closely with ECX team to execute the defined ECx strategy to improve the client engagement scores to become Best In Class in Client Experience.
- Utilize Customer Journey mapping and process mapping to clearly articulate the client experience and identify Key Moment of Truth experiences.
- Facilitate cross-functional teams to create new differentiated client experiences.
- Partner with Business Units to further their strategic needs and interests.
- Interact with multiple areas of the business to gain support and drive activities
- Act as a client advocate to facilitate solutions for clients.
- Use a standardized approach to project management (DMAIC or PDCA)

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in Customer Experience management role or equivalent
- Strong facilitation skills
- Project experience related to client improvement activities required
- Strong analytical skills
- Cross-functional influence capabilities
- Creative thinking
- Change management training and experience preferred
- Experience in Accounting or Professional Services industry desired
- Presentation and communication skills appropriate for a broad range of audiences.
- Minimum 4 years of experience.

Position Summary:

As a Federal Tax Manager involved in both compliance and consulting on large projects, strong technical skills are vital to this role. Tax consulting includes performing tax research and working with clients on tax matters as well as planning and implementing special projects. The Tax Manager is responsible for the compliance function on clients including supervising the preparation and technical review of corporate, partnership and personal income tax returns. The tax practice is growing tremendously and we look internally when choosing our future leaders. We consider this role as an excellent step toward Partner.

Responsibilities:

- Your role will include identifying and implementing tax planning and consulting opportunities, preparation and review of client tax calculations, management of client tax relationships and supervising and developing staff. Must have the ability to manage client relationships, multiple projects and meet deadlines.

- Manage, direct and monitor multiple client engagements as well as serve as a business advisor to the client.

- Identify and assist with implementation of tax planning and tax savings strategies.

- Research and consult on complex tax matters.

- Ability to manage and develop staff in a highly interactive team environment.

Qualifications:
- BS in Accounting required, Masters in Taxation or LLM is a plus
- CPA required
- Dealership and/or retail tax accounting experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in public accounting or corporate/public blend

- Proven engagement and staff management skills
- Ability to manage and grow strong client relationships
- Possess effective writing, communication and tax research skills
- Experience with tax technology a plus
