Senior Reporting Analyst

Job Summary

The Senior Reporting Analyst will be responsible for financial and performance reporting initiatives for California High Speed Rail Authority and will need to apply knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting for large capital projects. The Senior Reporting Analyst will utilize high level technical skills with Microsoft Excel and Power Point and must demonstrate solid communication and presentation skills. This person will organize and analyze information for management decisions; prepare clear, complete, and concise reports; and manage multiple competing priorities in a demanding environment. 



• Advanced Degree in Business, Accounting or related discipline.
• 5+ years of financial, budgeting, accounting and/or reporting experience.
• Very experienced with Excel and Powerpoint (lookups, formatting)
• FI$Cal (Hyperion, PeopleSoft) desired.
• Ability to lead and manage staff or project team.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information to executives.
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to solve problems.
• Ability to identify and document solutions to complex problems with accuracy.
• An aptitude for learning and working with technology.
• Detail-oriented
