This position is being opened for the Research and Analytics (RNA) group in the Healthcare team in Applied Technology. The role involves two major focus areas. First is data analysis, which entails interpreting complex data requests, retrieving the data utilizing T-SQL, visualizing the data in a way that makes sense for each request, and helping the stakeholders utilize the data. The second focus area is the research aspect of the position, known as "pre-development" or prototyping. The business users of our applications have lots of potential ideas that they would like to build into the software. Many of these ideas go through RNA first to perform data analysis and prove out the concept prior to it being scheduled for the development team.
? (required) 2+ years of T-SQL experience
? (preferred) Experience with Healthcare data, specifically 835/837, financial, and patient accounting data
? (preferred) Data Visualization tools such as SQL Server Reporting Services, Tableau, and PowerBI
? Strong analytical skills, especially with financial data
? A strong attention to detail, as well as the ability to step back and see the big picture
? Works well collaborating with others
? Comfortable navigating complex data structures in SQL Server to retrieve data
