IS Security Compliance Coordination Analyst - Top 10 Public Accounting, Consulting and Technology Firm

Job Summary

The IS Security Compliance Coordination Analyst is part of the team that works with areas of the firm responsible for the development, implementation and support of new technologies and systems to ensure requirements of external reviews/audits are considered.  

 

  • Assists in conducting periodic assessments of Crowe’s information systems to ensure they are compliant with the standards required to successfully complete a SSAE 18 SOC 2, or similar, review/audit by an independent third party.  If weaknesses are found, works with the product owner to develop a remediation plan to address the findings in a timely manner.
  • Assists in coordinates the planning processes required prior to scheduling a review by an independent third party.   Works closely with the independent third party during the review/audit process to ensure the efforts are completed in an efficient and professional manner.
  • Assists with the development of action plans to address any material items.   Tracks status/completion of action plan items and provides periodic reports to appropriate management.   When needed, works with independent third party to conduct retests of systems/processes after remediation is completed.
  • Review of existing and new products to ensure systems and processes continue to meet any required external third party review/audit.
  • Assist with planning of independent third party reviews/audit. If questions or issues are raised during the review/audit, seeks the appropriate Crowe individual(s) to provide answers in an efficient manner.
  • Coordinate the remediation of review/audit findings and schedule retesting as required.
  • Work with other member of the Information Security Compliance team to develop new standards, processes and complete other compliance related functions.

 

 

 

 


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 3-5 years of relevant work experience in the field of Information Services security with a focus on review/auditing.  Information security related certification a plus.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with development of policies, procedures, technical configuration standards, and guidelines.
  • Experience preparing for and working with internal and/or external auditors during a security focused review.
  • Ability to track remediation items resulting from a review/audit and to work with appropriate Crowe teams to develop plans to address them.
  • Experience developing and implementing compliance monitoring processes and procedures.
  • Experience preparing management reports, remediation plans, and related planning documents.
  • Experience with formal project planning and risk assessment methodologies.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships at all levels, internal and/or external to the organization.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience with development of policies, procedures, technical configuration standards, and guidelines.
  • Travel up to 10% might be required.
